The Evening Gazette is urging Teessiders to keep opportunist Christmas burglars at bay – by simply locking up their doors at home.
The Gazette’s Beat the Burglar initiative, was launched after it was found that 370 out of 1,000 burglaries could have been prevented by people ensuring their homes were secure.
