Eight computers, worth around £12,000 in total, were stolen from the Kent and Sussex Courier offices after a break-in.
Police were alerted at around 1.40am but found nothing suspicious and left. When a member of staff arrived again at 2am it is thought the intruders were disturbed.


The Hammersmith Times, part of Archant London’s North West London Newspapers division, has recorded its highest newspaper sales figure in almost three years, thanks to the success of Queen’s Park Rangers’ successful promotion push from football’s Division Two, latest figures have revealed.

Former Mayor of Bolton, Coun John Walsh, visited the Bolton Evening News offices recently collecting an album of photographs of his year in office.
