Newsquest London has successfully launched a brand new free newspaper, theRedhill and Reigate Life – thanks to the efforts of a dedicated band ofstaff.

When it became clear that because of a change in print slots that the onlyway for the new paper to attain its commitment of full colour was to printtwo sections and insert, staff rallied round to help out.

They worked through the night at the Brighton press halls to ensure a full colour 40-paper paper was ready for delivery to 30,000 homes the following day.

Publisher Jo Gumb said: “It was a fantastic effort by all departments whoquite literally rolled their sleeves up to ensure the paper came out aspromised to all our clients. A big thank you to everyone who helped.”
