Former Skipton Herald reporter Paul Hardaker is moving to the West Riding News & Sports Service to increase its news and features coverage of West Yorkshire.

Mr Hardaker (31) started his career on the Skipton weekly newspaper. He went on to work for Cavendish Press Agency in Manchester, Hopkinson’s in Bradford and Melia Press Agency in Leeds.

Eighteen months ago, Mr Hardaker moved to the Daily Record.
