The Citizen, Gloucester, has presented almost £470 to housing charity Shelter.

The money was raised through a Santa’s grotto which the newspaper ran in a local market.

Spencer Feeney, editor of The Citizen, said: “We have great admiration for the work Shelter does and we hope this small token goes some way to help them continue their fine work in the county.”
