Every journalist's nightmare

The Journal offices in Newcastle have been immortalised on video after filming for a new TV drama took place in the newsroom library.

The star of the show was Robson Green, who was shooting scenes for crime thriller Wire In The Blood.

In the library scene, Robson is investigating the discovery of a body which has a newspaper stuffed into its throat.

The victim had been literally forced to eat their own words and in the film the newsprint itself has significant words printed on it, which is why the producers went for the authentic backdrop.

Robson plays a clinical psychologist in the drama, in a role where he explores the traits of both murderer and victim to solve the crime.

It will be shown on ITV next year.
