Diane Scholes can truly claim to be the queen of trivia at the Great Barr Observer after scooping her second major prize in five years.

The advertising executive has beaten four other contestants to win a trip to Dubai in a quiz on BRMB Radio.

And just a few years ago, she scooped a dream holiday on the Nile after coming first in the TV gameshow Runway.

Diane said: “I just love holidays and quizzes and the two together is fantastic. I am so shocked.”

But her latest TV appearance didn’t bring as much joy – Diane failed to win anything after competing in The Weakest Link with Anne Robinson.
