The South Wales Evening Post has launched a quest to find its Young Reporter and Young Photographer of the Year 2000.

The competition is open to two age groups – primary school pupils 11 and under and senior school pupils aged 12 and over.

Entrants have until June to write a 200-words, or less, report or submit two photographs, in colour or black and white.

The winners will be awarded a cup to keep, and a shield for their school to keep for a year, as well as being given a tour of the newspaper’s offices.
