A three-year-old autistic boy is being handed a brighter future thanks to readers of the Hartlepool Mail.
They raised £3,000 to allow him to get the special education he needs, much closer to his home.
The fundraising means the Mail can pay for a portable classroom to be installed in the garden of the Wright family’s home on Hartlepool’s Fens estate.
Mail editor Harry said: “Once again, when we have asked our readers to help, they have responded magnificently.”
Sean Wright was the third Have A Heart cause to benefit from the fundraising.
First was one-year-old cerebral palsy sufferer Bethany Davison who needed £1,500 to gets the treatment she needs.
The second cause was road accident victim Frances Lee (seven), who will get a state-of-the-art bedroom thanks to £1,500 raised by Mail readers.
