Boy's vital PC is replaced

Charity workers and Leeds-based company
G E Capital have come to the aid of a six-year-old with cerebral palsy after his plight was featured in the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Brave Colin McDonnell had been making great strides with his speech and writing skills thanks to software on a £1,300 computer his mum struggled to buy for him.

Then thieves stole the computer just as Colin was about to start Key Stage One curriculum studies at school.

But following publicity in the paper, Leeds-based Young Physcap charity offered to get the youngster a replacement, and GE Capital offered – in turn – to make a large donation to the charity to cover the cost of the computer and fund more of the group’s work.
