Archant Norfolk adds extra dimension to weekly series

Archant Norfolk’s weekly newspaper titles have added new editions following a major research project to further meet the needs of people living in and around Norfolk market towns.

They now produce 14 different front pages every week.

Called Project Boundary, the six months of research was undertaken by Bianca Garside of the Archant Norfolk Insight team.

The group has announced that the Thetford, Brandon and Watton Times now has two editions – one for Thetford and Brandon and one for Watton.

The Dereham and Fakenham Times now have two editions – for Dereham and for Fakenham and Wells.

The North Norfolk News now has two editions; one for Cromer, Sheringham and Holt and one for North Walsham, Aylsham and Wroxham.

The Beccles and Bungay Journal also have three editions for Beccles, Bungay and Halesworth.

The Lowestoft Journal has two editions: the main Lowestoft edition and one for Southwold.

The Diss Mercury/Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury is now printed at Leicester rather than at Newark, in Nottinghamshire, which means all editorial pages can be changed, and 64 pages of colour are available.

A further change to the Thetford area title – with more changes to pages and enlargement of the geographical coverage of the Watton edition to cover Swaffham – is planned for the end of March.
