Journalists working in Scotland will be vying for the limelight next month as the region’s BT Media Awards are held.

Nominees for the majority of categories have now been announced, and include staff from the Glasgow Evening Times, Scotsman, and The Herald.

A host of other daily and weekly papers will also be competing for the top prizes, together with TV and radio stations.

The winners of each of the competition’s 14 categories will be revealed at an awards lunch at the Trades Hall, Glasgow, on May 9.
