Journalists and public relations staff from across Wiltshire gathered for an evening of celebration as the winners of this year’s Wiltshire Media Awards were announced.
Print, Internet and broadcast journalism as well as PR were all represented as 13 prizes were handed out during a ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in Swindon on Thursday.
Dominating the list of winners at the event was the Evening Advertiser, with six of its staff collecting gongs – including Victoria Tagg, who won best feature writer (print and web), and Jon Ritson, who won best sports writer.
The event, which is in its second year, was organised by the Swindon Branch of the National Union of Journalists.
